Easy to use app.

WeChat is a full featured chat app, it supports textmsg, voice msg, video call, voice call, i use it a lot to do video chat with my friends and families. However, wechat is never simply a chat app, what I like most is its support for official account, like a youtube channel, i can subscribe a lot of very useful channel, like financial writters account, thus i can get the latest info of high quality. Well, besides, wechat is actually everything you want, u can make overseas phone call using wechat out at low rates, sharing photos , videos, news, etc. like Instagram and facebook using moments but with better privacy control. u can also use it like paypal to pay meals or send friends money with no fees, u can pay credit cards or borrow cash directly on wechat. u can do everything!

When I used wechat it took up 170 megabytes. Later when I checked the app, it was only using 40 megabytes... Once I started to use up all of my storage on my phone, wechat had decided to refuse to work. All it did was demand for more storage in my phone.

This app has so many great features and I havent noticed any bugs or problems. I would highly recommend this app!

Use it everyday.

Feature-wise, WeChat is class leading. From its chat, voice, and video services to its payment system, all-in-all it is leading its competitors by a long shot. However, while the app and the services it provides its excellent, the apps ability to do a good job is severely by the GFW. At its best, if you use this app outside of China, you will often see the app having a difficult time connecting to its servers in mainland China. At its worst, voice and video services are completely unusable. However, I did not experience any of these issues when I was in mainland China. So, long story short, this app is more suitable for use in mainland China than anywhere else, especially if mission critical voice and video calls are a requirement.

This app really cant be compared to anything (Facebook or others). You can do everything through this one APP - order food, a taxi, pay for items, video calls (with multiple users at one time) and voice calls. The quality is amazing, it rarely crashes and the network for calls is better than FaceTime or Skype). I havent mentioned the social aspect of chatting, groups and sharing memories on your one "wall". Great app and great quality. Been a user for years now.

Works well and as expected

Theres a reason everybody in china has this app. Its easy to use and fast.

WeChat makes the communication between me and my family friends who living in China extremely easy. It also comes with lots of great characteristics which let us find friends chat as a group......I love WeChat!

Love all aspects of WeChat! It is a great tool for communicating with my loved ones who are so far away.

The English interface is nice and many of the features are just as, if not even more, fluid as contemporary western applications.

WeChat is my free daily communication tool with my family and friends overseas. I cant imagine how different and disconnected my life would be without it!

Perfect

Pros: best voice chat app, Moments (a Facebook-like social network portal built into the app), stickers! Cons: a bit slow to connect, no encryption in communication, cannot accept voice/video calls from lock screen

Its a very nice app. Better than Whatsapp to transfer videos and pics and it has a good diffusion in China

Hope to send larger video files but not always large enough.
