Single most widely used social media APP in China. Its the Swiss Army Knife of Chinese Mobile APPs... Its mainly used worldwide to connect with other Chinese people, family, friends, social networks, send e-red envelopes with ¥¥¥ to anyone with the APP, consumer and municipal portals in the APP expand service offerings to nearly "everything imaginable". I think the ¥¥¥ money-transfer, SMS, walkie-talkie, video call/chat, sharing locations, browsing/posting/updating moments, and sharing/scanning QR codes are features used daily in everyday modern life... ITS A GREAT APP! I enjoy using it daily and suggest downloading it to all my international & domestic friends, old and new! We can all keep connected in Wechat, its simple...

Communist China is able to monitor all your activity through this app. Just wanted to bring that to everyones attention. I love WeChat!

Great to speak to friends and family abroad and the communication is great!!

I just got a new iPhone and WeChat is putting me through the ringer just to be able to use the app again. I login with my password it says I need to get a code sent to my text messages. I enter that code and it says I need to get verification from my friends. If youre going to make it so difficult to get back onto the app WeChat, Im done.

Too bad the USA isnt on WeChat, it would make life so convenient. I use it constantly in China... for everything.
